AC-REP Welcomes Newest Class of Participants to the LEAD Metro North Program

September 21, 2023

Westminster, CO – Adams County Regional Economic Partnership (AC-REP) is excited to announce the newest class of the 2023-2024 LEAD Metro North program.

LEAD Metro North is a 10-month business and community engagement program. It is geared toward individuals who want to learn more about Adams County industries and the economy, build relationships with key community leaders, and develop solution-oriented leadership skills.

The program cultivates and grows community leaders to serve on Boards and Commissions to enhance the region’s economic vitality. The selected participants represent a broad and diverse cross-section of business, government, and nonprofit participants who share a commitment to active engagement in shaping the region’s future.

“Building community leaders is important to our local economy,” said Lisa Hough, President & CEO of AC-REP. “Having informed citizens who know more about the issues and challenges in our region can help develop solutions for our future.”

Since 1986, the Metro North Leadership programs have informed and educated more than 1,824 alumni leaders who support the program via the Leadership Alumni Board (LAB) and mentor participants during the program.

LEAD Metro North is made possible because of generous supporters. Once again, with the support of the Adams County government, AC-REP was able to provide scholarships to applicants from non-profits, local government, and small community businesses. This year’s Leadership Sponsor is Adolfson & Peterson Construction. With their support, our leadership training is provided by Fresh Biz Solutions.

“Developing leaders is a top priority for us. We are thrilled to work with AC-REP to welcome the next generation of leaders who will take the Greater Adams County region to the next level.” Kevin Harrison, Superintendent, Adolfson & Peterson.
