Join us for the next Made in Adams and get an exclusive look inside Pretred’s new state-of-the-art tire processing and recycled rubber barrier manufacturing facility in Aurora. 

Pretred, a 2023 AC-REP Gamechanger, is transforming end-of-life tires into durable infrastructure products through an innovative, closed-loop manufacturing process. At its new facility, guests will see that process firsthand—from whole tires entering one side of the building to finished recycled rubber barriers emerging from the other. Pretred's process recovers and repurposes the rubber, steel, and nylon from used tires, keeping valuable materials in circulation and out of landfills and incineration. 

During the tour, you'll see how advanced manufacturing and sustainability come together to create infrastructure solutions for roadways, construction sites, airports, parking facilities, and more. 

Pretred's barriers are made with at least 95% recycled material, and the company estimates that each facility can divert more than 100 million pounds of waste tires annually. 

This Made in Adams experience is a unique opportunity to see circular manufacturing in action and learn how a local innovator is turning a challenging waste stream into products with real-world applications.
